We have the standard ShoreTel package with Communicator and do not have the Call Center upgrade. Recording calls "on the fly" is an acceptable way of recording calls. We would; however, like to be able to ensure the entire call is captured. The agent initiated recording creates delays and incomplete recordings. The agent may not initiated the recording until the greeting or question is already asked. We would like to be able to have the recording automatically begin when the call is answered. Does anyone know a way of sending a command through TAPI to initiate the recording with the "Ctrl+e" command? Can this be enabled to send the command to a specific extension/communicator? Any information you have would be great. Thanks!
