How to show internal caller name in conference viewer

We are using a virtual conference appliance and actually have had no problems at all, but there is something that bugs me and hopefully someone knows the answer. The host of the conference can see the callers extension when they call in, but it doesn't show the name, just (Caller xxxxxx). I can understand this for external calls, but for calls on our own phone system, it should be an easy process for the appliance to know who belongs to a particular extension. Can anyone assist me with this?
