Hi,
We have a new ShoreTel system here and I am looking for some guidance on a Caller ID issue. The problem we are having deals with calls that originate on the inside to another inside user that is forwarding their calls (out of office, extended absence, try my cell after x rings, etc.) to an outside number (cell phone etc.).
When this situation occurs, what the user sees for Caller ID on that outside phone is our main number for our facility (for privacy reasons we have all our users configured with this main number under the Individual Users/General Tab/DID Number in the ShoreTel Director).
Is there some way to have the ShoreTel system recognize when this takes place and send the call originators number instead of the main number? Any help is appreciated!
Thanks,
Alan M.
